Links on Consumer Protection Issues

These organizations can help you determine the safety of a product (or service) and whether or not a product has been recalled. We recommend that you make it a habit to check out second-hand products -- optimally before you buy them. If you run into a dangerous or questionable product, please don't hesitate to report it to the manufacturer, and also to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. Your feedback helps the CPSC keep unsafe products off the shelves.
