Pro-Choice Perspective -- Although this page covers both sides of the abortion argument, it is definitely skewed to the pro-choice perspective. This is because we feel that most people searching this page are in a crisis situation and are seeking this specific information. At this time, abortion is legal in America, and it would be irresponsible for us to pretend that it isn't.

Alternatives -- We do, however, encourage people to think about alternatives and to not rush into anything. We encourage every sexually active person to become informed about contraceptives, and to use them consistently and properly. The best way to avoid abortions is to teach children about sexuality, abstinence and safe sex. We wish for every child to be a wanted child, and we are fully and painfully aware of the terrible things that happen to many children who were not planned. Abortion is not for everyone, and it isn't something that should be done lightly. If you are pregnant and considering an abortion, please consider all of your options carefully before making your decision.
